First Thoughts
Straight away with starting to play Saints Row IV I couldnt wait as I had not played Saints Row IV yet so it was all new to me and straight of the back the game looks amazing it sounds amazing and the humour is great this is such a fun game within the first 5 mins and couldnt wait to see what else the game had in store for me.
Story
Saints Row IV is based 5 Years after saints row 3 this time Aliens have invaded steelport and you are in a virtual reality version of steelport where you will have to encounter various aliens , police , gang members and also enemies from the past. I enjoy the story to saints row games as I like that they dont take it seriously and because of that it always makes the story to the game great also the same characters are back with the funny dialouge making you want to hear more of the humor the game has in store. Personally I think that the story is a very strong part of the game as you want to know whats going on and it does keep you very occupied so i really think if you want a funny story then this game is definitely worth it.
Gameplay
The gameplay of Saints Row IV is very similar to Saints Row The Third but it has changed a lot seeing this time we are in a virtual reality version of steelport anything can happen such as you have powers you can sprint at un believable speed jump incredible height and also use many other powers such as Stomp , Telekenisis , Blast. The gameplay of saints row iv is great it is so enjoyable everytime you play this game it feels new and fresh and i think that the gameplay is a really strong point to this game.
Graphics
The graphics to Saints Row IV are great they look very similar to Saints Row The Third’s kind of graphics but I dont think this is a bad thing as I really like the graphics to the game there is so much detail in many things such as the surrounding (steelport) vehicles (Alien vehicles and normal vehicles) weapons (Alien weapons and normal weapons) and also the graphics on the clothing/customisation also looks great and every piece of clothing on the game looks much different from the other all in all i think the graphics to Saints Row IV look amazing.
Sound
With a game like Saints Row you need a great soundtrack and this game has it every song is amazing and I think every song in the game fits very well but not only the soundtrack in the game is great even the sound effects such as the noise of explosions and the sound of guns are great and each gun has there own sound and none of the guns sound a like so i personally think this is great. Another great thing about Saints Row IV is the voice actors each voice actor in this game is amazing so the sound to saints row is another VERY STRONG POINT to the game as every thing sounds great!.
Lasting Appeal
There is loads of lasting appeal to this game such as side quests , collectibles, upgrading, and various mini games to keep you occupied for a while so there is so much for you to do on this game to keep you enjoying it which is great because I think this game is amazing.
Final Thoughts
Saints Row IV is amazing this game has everything ACTION PACKED , Decent story line , Awesome characters , great music , and much more this game will keep you occupied for hour’s , day’s , week’s as there is so much to do and even when you finish the main campaign the game is still really fun to play which I like a lot. even just running around the town collecting all the collectibles is enjoyable!. This is a game that you need to play and own.
