First Thoughts
Straight away from playing Giana sisters is Nostalgia from the old Giana sister games and it is amazing. The new look to the game is great as well and make a massive change on the experience and this is definitely a great addition to the Giana Sisters Universe.
Story
The story to Giana sister twisted dreams is about saving your sister Maria who is abducted by a giant dragon and taken to the dream world and it is up to you to go and save her. Giana has now become a teenager since the last Giana sisters game in the series because Giana is in a stage of her life where it’s all about transformation, she has learned to change her dreams and with her new ability you will need to change from “Blonde Haired Giana (Also Known As Cute Giana)” And “Red Haired Giana (Also Known As Punk Giana)” These are both Giana’s persona’s in order to deal with the dream world and save her sister you must use both Red And Blonde Giana To Fight your way through this twisted dream!.
Gameplay
The gameplay to Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams is a side scrolling puzzle platformer but it seems much different to that because the way the graphics are enhanced and how you can change from Red And Blonde Giana this changes the gameplay so much including the way the level looks and all the enemies around you.
Graphics
The graphics to this game are so great, they are bright at one point and dark a creepy the next and every time you change from red to blonde Giana you will notice the level enemies and everything changes which makes a whole new experience every time.
Sound
The Soundtrack to game is great and fits the game very well and is definitely one of the strong points to the game also when you change from red to blonde the music changes red has more of a metal feel to it and blonde has a peaceful kind of music which is awesome.
Lasting Appeal
The lasting appeal to this game is you can go through it again and again trying to get all those missing gems that you couldn’t get and also trying to complete everything 100% this will take time.
Final Thoughts
The game is amazing and looks great and is definitely worth playing for any fan of the previous Giana sisters games the way everything changes when you change from red to blonde never gets old as every level starts to look different and this makes everything feel new also the graphics are awesome for a side scrolling game and is another strong point to this great experience I really recommend checking this game out even if you never played any other Giana sisters game but if you like side scrolling puzzle platformers then this is definitely worth a try
