The Weekend Playlist – Week ending March 23rd 2014

Hello everyone and welcome to The Weekend Playlist where we tell you whats been occupying our weekends so that you may get some recommendations or be dissuaded from certain titles. This week Me, ThaMaskedGamer & Jonnie have some great recommendations for all of you so lets begin.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune – Naughty Dog – Sony Computer Entertainment

Last Game you Played – Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune

So I decided to replay the entire Uncharted series again since I had nothing better to do so obviously, I started on Drake’s Fortune which sees Fortune Hunter; Nathan Drake trying to find the lost city of El Dorado after following in the footsteps of his ancestor Sir Francis Drake. This is a fantastic game from Naughty Dog & I am currently playing through it on the Hard Difficulty but I can definitely recommend this title.

Last Movie(s) you Watched – Various

This week I’ve only seen 3 films so I will list them below.

The first film I watched this week was Need For Speed starring Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. This film was brilliant in all senses of the word and is by far more superior to The Fast & The Furious. Need For Speed had more emotion, A Fantastic Storyline, A Great Cast, More Cars & Racing aswell as a very emotional scene towards the end of the film. This is definitely one film not to be missed at the cinema. Oh & did I mention that as the title suggests, It is based off the Need For Speed Video Game Franchise.

The Second film I watched this week was The Muppets from 2012 since I’m getting ready for Muppets Most Wanted next week. The film sees Muppet fanatic; Walter aswell as his Brother Gary & Gary’s fiance Mary trying to get the muppets back together to raise $10 Million to save their theater from an evil oil baron. This film is hilarious and shows that The Muppets are back & better than ever.

The final film I watched this weekend was Prisoners which was phenomenal. In Prisoners, 2 Young Girls get kidnapped and the fathers take the only known suspect hostage to get their own answers. The performances in this film are incredible with Hugh Jackman & Jake Gyllenghaal giving extremely dramatic performances. Phenomenal Film. Must Watch.

Last TV Show you Watched – Game of Thrones

So this week I’ve pretty much been none stop Game of Thrones. I recently finished Season 1 & Have only just started on Season 2 and by god this show is phenomenal. Peter Dinkelage is great as Tyrion & The Show has some of the best scenery I’ve ever witnessed in a tv show.

Last YouTube Video you Watched – Assassin’s Creed Unity Sneak Peek

This week saw the announcement of Assassin’s Creed Unity which is a next gen Assassin’s Creed title set in 18th Century Paris. This game looks amazing and I can’t wait. Check it out below.

Last Piece of Music you Listened to – Roads Untraveled by Linkin Park

The last song I heard was Roads Untraveled which is a song by Linkin Park on the Need For Speed Soundtrack. This is a fantastic song and I’ve listened to it since I seen the film.

This game is amazing and i cant wait for The Phantom Pain to see how the story all goes as i am a really big fan of MGS.

Last Movie you Watched – You Don’t Mess with the Zohan

I remember watchin this film along time ago and i did enjoy it then but its not as funny as i once thought but still was entertaining.

Last TV Show you Watched – Prison Break

So Ive started watching prison break and let me say THIS IS SO INTERESTING the way everything is planned out so far it is amazing and i definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to watch a decent show

I have been playing this game a lot recently hoping to finish and finally review it i can definitely say this is the best game of the year so far and well worth sticking with till the end

Last Movie you Watched – Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

This is the funniest movie i have ever seen and the fact that its a gamers nerdgasm it ticks all of my boxes a must watch

Last TV Show you Watched – Dexter

I have really been trying to watch as much of this as possible because its so well written and becoming one of my favorite TV shows

Last YouTube Video you Watched – Hiimdaisy persona 4 comic dub

This is a spoof of persona 4 and i found it really funny its just a shame it was never fully completed
