Tokyo Jungle creator Crispy’s Inc. & Suda 51 have teamed up to make a brand new side-scroller game exclusive to PlayStation 3 called Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day. Longest Day will be the fifth & final part of the Short Peace collection of 4 animated shorts released in Japan in 2013 however these shorts aren’t just an everyday cartoon as one of them is even an Oscar nominee.

The game follows the life of Ranko Tsukigime who lives a double life. In the light of day, She is an ordinary high school student however when the dark of night falls, She is a feared Assassin. Katsushiro Omoto; The Director of acclaimed anime flick, Akira has been put in charge of supervising the artistic direction of Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, collaborating with the eccentric game designers in order to deliver a truly stunning visual and conceptual experience.

The game looks like it is taking inspiration from all the creators’ previous with the game including a Giant Pomeranian (Which is obviously an influence from Tokyo Jungle), A motorbike similar to that of Kaneda from Akira & The Art stylings of No More Heroes which in turn makes this game look like one you don’t want to miss. Check out the trailer below.

Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is set to hit PlayStation 3 consoles across North America & Europe this spring thanks to Bandai Namco.
