In case you don’t remember, September 2013 saw the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix; A HD Compilation of Kingdom Hearts 1.5, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories & Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days which saw huge success and loads of sales from the mainstream fans of the series. Last year due to the success, Square Enix revealed they were working on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix.
This new HD compilation would include Kingdom Hearts 2.5, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep & Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded which they revealed would be released in 2014 exclusively on PlayStation 3. Over the Christmas Holidays, Square unveiled a new Japanese trailer for the collection at the Jump Festa Event and have today released an English version of that trailer which you can see below.
Picking up from where Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix ends, the trailer features fan-favorite characters like Sora, Roxas, Riku and Naminé alongside the Disney cast including Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Hercules, King Mickey, Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean) and others – now in stunning high-definition graphics.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will be available on PlayStation 3 later this year.
