Monday was a great night for Activision who were proud to announce that Skylanders Giants won “Game in 2013” at the BAFTA Children’s awards. Recognition at the coveted awards ceremony demonstrates the continued creativity, quality and innovation of the franchise and follows the success of predecessor  Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure® which won in the same category last year.

This beautiful award was given to Activision for Skylander’s Giants

The BAFTA children’s awards is one of the most anticipated awards in the UK calendar, voted for by a panel of judges. Commenting on the win; Roy Stackhouse who is the UK Managing Director of Activision said “We are absolutely delighted to have won once again at the Children’s BAFTAs.  Winning an award is always exciting but to receive an accolade of BAFTA’s magnitude and to win it twice is truly special and proves the popularity of the franchise as well as the extraordinary talent of the team who produce it.  The next instalment of the game, Skylanders SWAP Force™ launched in October and is tipped to be number one on many Christmas gift lists this year.”
