Uncharted title coming to PlayStation 4

On Friday, North American PlayStation fans managed to finally pick up their PlayStation 4’s and to celebrate, Jack Tretton & Andy House joined Spike TV to unveil brand new PlayStation 4 world exclusives and the first to take to the stage was Naughty Dog who unveiled the news all of us PlayStation fans were waiting for; Uncharted is coming to the next gen.

The trailer which I will include below is actually pretty mysterious thus far with not much being revealed. In the trailer we see an old map with locations like South Africa which could mean it will be a location in the game. Obviously the Uncharted series is technically linked to the past with each game being based around Nathan Drake hunting down a treasure from an ancient myth however due to the mysterious voice; People are guessing that Nate will not return as the protagonist but rumors are currently circulating the internet that maybe the game will feature Sir Francis Drake as either the main protagonist or a secondary protagonist in a similar manner to Assassin’s Creed.

Like most of the brilliant upcoming titles for PS4 like Kingdom Hearts III, Mirror’s Edge & Star Wars Battlefront; Expect to see Uncharted when its ready and hopefully if we are lucky, We will get more details at either the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th or at E3 2014 in June.

So what do you guys think? Do you want to see Nathan Drake Return? Are you happy Uncharted is coming to PlayStation 4? Be sure to let me know in the comments section below and be sure to stay tuned to UGNN for more news on Uncharted when it becomes available.

  1. Hi, I believe your site might be having browser compatibility problems. Whenever I take a look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine however when opening in IE, it has some overlapping issues. I just wanted to provide you with a quick heads up! Apart from that, wonderful site!|
