As many of you may already know, Thief is a stealth/ action franchise from Square Enix which appeared in the PS2, Xbox Generation and is also one of the main inspirations for last year’s sleeper hit, Dishonored. Well after seeing how well Dishonored had done, Square Enix thought it was time that Garrett got a revival and announced a new entry in the series simply titled Thief as a reboot of the franchise and one of the first Square titles for the next gen. Well just recently the information got a hell of a lot better.
Square Enix have recently revealed that Thief will be making its way to the PC, Current Gen & Next Gen consoles on February 25th 2014 in North America & February 28th 2014 in the UK & Europe.
Garrett the Master Thief is entangled in the growing layers of conflict between Baron Northcrest and the oppressed masses led by Orion, the voice of the people. In a City on the brink of revolution, Garrett’s skills are all he can trust as he walks the fine line between politics and the people.
